Just try using mouse and keyboard more often and you to will find it's far superior to a gamepad.

However, I have learned that the mouse makes moving the camera much smoother than a joystick and keyboards allow access to controls you might not even knew existed on console versions of games such as hotkeys, quicksaves, lean etc. Trust me I used to hate aiming with a mouse or using a keyboard in PC games because I was so used to a controller.
